Black Sands Smelting Gold & Silver Flux - 1 Pound- Jewelry -Refining Cleaner

1 Pound of the best Flux I have used so far. Directions of how much to use vary depending on your Black Sands and results vary based on your Black Sands. This flux will help you get all the gold out of your black sands. A good place to start is a 3 Part Flux & 1 Part concentrates. Some suggestions I can offer is to grind up your black sands to a 100 Mesh or finer. Then roast your sands (Outside of course) this will burn off the sulfides and release more gold. Then pan out your cons again to get rid of more lighter material. The more percentage of Gold you have in your concentrates the more gold you can smelt at a time. After you have panned your cons again you want to dry them out. Then take your flux & cons and put them into a jar and close the lid and mix Thoroughly for at least a couple of minutes. Pour into your crucible and heat to 2100F, once the temp is constant at 2100F allow your flux to cook for apx 1 hour. When ready pour into your conical mold and allow to cool. This will take some time and this flux will crack and pop. Its like Black Obsidian Glass and can cut you. Always be sure to use safety eye protection. If you find your flux is to thick, you can always add a little Borax to thin out the pour. We can only ship this in the USA.
