This set of Light Duty Crucible Tongs is just over 17-1/2" Long. The handles are about 3/16" round rod stock. The nose or bent down part of the tong is about 1-3/16" long. These are great for pulling small crucibles or silica dishes out of your kiln or to hold them as you melt with your torch. I am sure there is a hundred other uses for these tongs but they are designed for picking up or holding hot crucibles or other objects.
